Now available to pre-order from The Nacelle Company is their re-imagining of The Great Garloo. The new figure is based on a toy originally released back in 1961 as a 24″ tall robot. The Great Garloo featured a wired remote control that could control the toys movements. The feet had wheels which allowed the toy to move around, and the remote could control the arms, allowing them to pick items up. The Great Garloo has popped up as different figures over the years, including a recent ReAction Figure from Super7.
The new figure by Nacelle features a modern redesign. The 3″ tall figure is packed in a window box inspired by the original Marx Toys packaging of the 60’s. It’s priced at $19.99, and is expected to ship out in September 2023. You can pre-order the figure directly from the Nacelle Shop.
