Silent Hill 2 – James Sunderland 1/6 Scale Statue by Gecco

A new statue based on the lead character from Silent Hill 2 has been revealed by Gecco. The James Sunderland 1/6 Scale Statue will stand a little over 12″ tall, and will be cast in a a mix of polystone and polyurethane. Konami’s sequel to their hit horror game was originally released for the PlayStation 2 and Xbox in 2001. A full remake of the game is also in the works. It will be released for the PlayStation 5 and Windows PC, but no release date has been announced at this time.

The statue features a themed display stand, and has multiple interchangeable right hands. Each swappable hand features a different weapon. The weapons include a handgun, a shotgun, a wooden plank, a steel pipe, and the Great Knife from the Red Pyramid Thing. Pre-orders are now live directly from Gecco. The statue is priced at $359.99. Figure features

The protagonist James, who visits the fog-shrouded town “Silent Hill” after receiving a mysterious letter from his late wife Mary, is recreated as a 1/6 scale statue.

He is both mentally exhausted from the loss of his wife and physically fatigued from confronting creatures in town and blindly believing that he will see Mary again. The sculpture expertly captures the complex facial expressions and emotions within the character.

In his right hand, James has the option of holding a wooden plank, which he first acquires in the game as well as a handgun, a steel pipe and the Great Knife paired up with Red Pyramid Thing.

His worn-out military jacket is precisely recreated in fine detail, including patches and a flashlight in the breast pocket.

The base recreates the subtle details of the dead-end of the town, with Health Drinks littered at his feet, an essential item for strength recovery.

James can also be displayed alongside Maria from the same statue series to recreate the memorable scene in Rosewater Park where they first meet.
