The Four Horsemen have just released new information on their upcoming Mythic Legions LegionsCon 2023 Exclusive The Blood Armor Vorgus Vermillius 2. This figure will be available on Day 1 of LegionsCon (Sat, Nov 11). It will come in show packaging and include a bonus item which will not be available in the standard edition!
The lore of this character is that it is a cursed suit of armor that grants the wearer nearly God-like levels of power, turning them into the warrior known as Vorgus Vermillius. This comes at a terrible price, for the armor drains the life force of whomever wears it, eventually consuming them completely. As it claims victims, the armor grows and changes in both power and appearance.
The original Vorgus Vermillius was a fan-voted design as part of our first ML Kickstarter. It was basically a repainted Gorgo. In the spirit of that first version, we decided to use some parts from the. new Gorgo Aetherblade 2 to create this evolved version of the Blood Armor! We also updated his weapons and his cape. The cape included is the craziest soft goods item we have done to date!
Prototyped by @cjesim, it is fully wired with multiple posable “tendrils”, great for posing and photos!
Vorgus 2 also includes extra heads. He has his fully helmeted head (which is how the armor appears once it has fully consumed a wearer), as well a helmeted vampire head showing the latest member of Illythia’s Brood who has decided to try to wield the power of the Blood Armor. But wait…there’s more!
ONLY available in the @legionscon edition of this figure will be a third head – the translucent red “consumed” head which shows this vampiric warrior being devoured by the cursed armor! That head will not be in the standard edition of this figure. That version will be released sometime next year, similar to what we have done for other LegionsCon figures
