New photos and full details have been released by Tamashii Nations for their S.H. Figuarts 9S. Like the recently revealed S.H. Figuarts 2B, the 9S figure is based on NieR: Automata Ver1.1a, an anime TV series inspired by the NieR: Automata video game. YoRHa No.9 Type S, aka 9S, is an android created to battle the machine lifeforms that have invaded the planet. 9S is a scanner type droid in the series. The figure stands at 5.7″ tall. The figure includes multiple interchangeable faces, swap out hands, a Pod 153 companion bot, a display stand, and more.
Pre-orders for the S.H. Figuarts 9S go live on September 1 in Japan. The figure is scheduled for release in February 2024. It will be priced at 8,800 Yen (about $61 USD). See the new photos below.
