Back at San Diego Comic-Con 2023, we got our first look at the new figures based on Zack Snyder’s Rebel Moon from Diamond Select Toys. The new line of collectibles has now officially been announced, and DST has sent over a press release with the details. They will be producing not only action figures, but busts and statues as well. The first items are due out between the end of the year and early 2024. Check out the press release and first official photos below.
Diamond Select Toys and Netflix Team Up for Rebel Moon Collectibles
300. Watchmen. Man of Steel. Zack Snyder’s Justice League. Army of The Dead. Zack Snyder’s resume is a check list of ground-breaking films, and his upcoming film Rebel Moon is next on the list.
Rebel Moon is an epic science-fantasy event decades in the making that follows the story of a peaceful colony on the edge of a galaxy. When threatened by the armies of a tyrannical ruling force, Kora (Sofia Boutella), a mysterious stranger living among the villagers, becomes their best hope for survival.
Described as Snyder’s most expansive world yet, the behind-the-scenes footage released thus far promises an epic story filled with amazing action and visuals when it hits Netflix on December 22, 2023. Now, Netflix and Diamond Select Toys have joined forces to create a line of incredible collectibles based on the film!
Beginning in late 2023/early 2024, DST will release a variety of Rebel Moon products, including 1/10 scale action figures, Gallery Diorama PVC sculptures, and Legends in 3D ½ scale busts. The first series of action figures, which will be offered for pre-order on September 22, will feature Jimmy (voiced by Anthony Hopkins) and Nemesis (played by Doona Bae), followed in Series 2 by Kora (played by Sofia Boutella).
