S.H. Figuarts Kid Goku Innocent Challenger Tamashii Nations NYC Store Exclusive

Quick look today at the recently dropped Tamashii Nations Store NYC exclusive Kid Goku. This is labeled the Innocent Challenger version, and he has some differences from previously released editions of the figure.

Base body and accessories are the same – two tails, power pole in extended or sheathed form, multiple faces and hands. Main difference here is an all new extra head/hair piece, and new face plates with different expressions. The orange on the gi is also a tad darker than the original release. The new hair gives a windswept look which is a good alternative for Goku in battle stances. New facial expressions pop and give even more of an anime look to the figure.

Overall solid release. Prior to this I skipped displaying Dragonball OG figs on my primary shelf, but I’ve tucked this guy in right before the Saiyan Saga Z stuff to represent that whole era now. :)
