During the Masters of the Universe action figure line of the early 2000’s, Mattel put out a repaint of their Skeletor figure in wildly odd colors. At the time, the figure was a shelf warmer, and wasn’t very well received. It was meant to be a filler release, as the line shifted to the Snake Men story line to match up with the animated series. The figure became known as “Disco Skeletor”, and fans have grown to enjoy the odd variants that now pay homage to that release. Mondo is releasing their own version, as they have revealed their Disco Skeletor 1/6 Scale Figure.
Pre-orders for the Disco Skeletor figure will go live on Friday, December 15 at 1:00PM EST (Noon CST). The figure will be limited to 1,000 pieces, and will be priced at $250. Disco Skeletor should ship out in March 2024.
