Vitruvian H.A.C.K.S. Action Figure – Dwynn Dellos (Halfling Thief)
Historical Documentation
Most halflings are home birds: rarely leaving their communes. On occasion, one or more will feel the allure of the open road and will venture into the outside world. Dwynn Dellos is one such, they arrived in Accord one morning and began to offer their services to mercenary bands preparing to march to the front line in support of the overtaxed Knights of Accord. Halflings are quiet and have learned to make themselves invisible to prying eyes. These traits have been developed to counteract their relative physical weakness and lack of fighting acumen. Halflings prefer to melt away into the shadows or take cover unseen when danger is at hand. A mercenary group who were to scout a Blasted Lands Orc encampment on the road to Herder’s Grove recruited Dwynn to infiltrate the camp and report back. It was their report that the Orcs were in dire straits from previous battles, knowledge gleaned from Dwynn’s sortie, which encouraged the Knights of Accord to attack the Orcs and run them off.
Temporal Log
“You don’t see a halfling unless it wants you to.”
Shockingly little is known, or even rumored about halflings as a race. They keep to themselves in their own out of the way places and do not see the need to trade with the wider world. They’re a people who desire no riches and are more than satisfied with a full belly, a song and dance and companionship of their fellows. Halflings do not write but compose songs and oral histories which are passed down to subsequent generations word for word. These stories are in no way historically accurate, are obsessed with minutiae and contain verse after verse of interminable poetry. A halfling can tell you what their grandparent ate for lunch on July the 17th eighty years ago, with a full recipe for the dish.

Vitruvian H.A.C.K.S. Action Figure – Grimgrom (Dwarf Mercenary)
Historical Documentation
Mining is dangerous, dirty and draining work, it is also the traditional role of a dwarf. Grimgrom spent most of his life underground, never seeing the light of day, wondering when an igniting gas pocket would finally put him out of his misery. It didn’t happen; something far worse did. The mine his family had worked for generations was exhausted. Every worthwhile seam of ore had been extracted and they faced starvation. As the rest of his family moved to caverns new, in the hope of striking it lucky, Grimgrom took the opportunity to find a different, more appealing, line of work. His physical strength, experience in construction, practical knowledge of mining techniques and toughness soon saw him find a new life as an in-demand mercenary. He has served under many masters across the continent, even including a stretch of time in the direct employ of the Knights of Accord as a combat engineer improving the defenses of the front-line fort of Tinadren.
Temporal Log
For Hire: Dwarf engineer and fighter. Strong right arm. Left arm also good. Able to plan fixed defenses, act as field engineer and labor.
Experienced with axe and war hammer. How experienced? Ask the orcs.
Rate: twenty copper a week for building work with bonus required of one silver per Orc head cleaved.
Danger money negotiable.
Ask for Grimgrom.

Vitruvian H.A.C.K.S. Action Figure – Bur’Zagi (Mighty Orc Sovran)
Historical Documentation
A fabled Orc leader, Bur’Zagi formed his own personal warband, the Minar Bilatsen (Pain Seekers) and led them into battle. Rather than do what Orcs had done for generations and recruit his own kinsmen, Bur’Zagi sought out the finest, toughest and deadliest Orcs from all of the different tribes. Whether from the Blasted Lands Orcs, the bestial Orc hunters or the Ice Orcs of Izotzdia, he encouraged them to undertake the most perilous journeys, face their darkest fears and fight in the grandest battles. These challenges, he believed, would make his followers unbeatable and forge them into true warriors rather than the traditional orc conqueror. For some time, he was proven correct, until he made the decision that was to be his ruin. Bur’Zagi was extremely strong and hardy, surpassing all others in physical attributes. He was also a fine tactician, but in the end fatally underestimated one foe in particular.
Temporal Log
Bur’Zagi’s name is revered to this day by the Orcs as one who could have conquered the known world. His end was an ignominious defeat from which Orc kind has never recovered. Coveting the fabled jewels of Ailewi, the faerie cavern, he attacked that underground world with his followers, confident that the tiny faeries were no threat to his hand-picked raiders. The cavern faeries stood their ground, wiping out his carefully trained troops with their magic and making an example of the captured Bur’Zagi. He was entombed alive in a large crystal on the hills overlooking a valley that later came to bear his name. He remains there still, perfectly preserved and clearly visible to anyone who passes through the valley of Bur’Zagi on their way to Ailewi or the Blasted Lands further south.

Vitruvian H.A.C.K.S. Action Figure – Madame Ruskin (Dwarf Tavern Keeper)
Historical Documentation
Dwarves tend to keep to themselves, rarely interacting with humans or elves except to trade their precious metals and excellent weaponry for meat, grain and ale. The dwarven underground city of Drumm is the closest to the borders of Accord and the small human village of Milltown acts as a trading post between the two species. Seeing a gap in the market, Madame Ruskin founded her nameless tavern. “Why bother naming it when it’s the only one within twenty leagues?” she reasoned.
Ruskin herself is a font of information, every scrap of idle tavern talk is noted in her voluminous memory. The tavern itself acts as a kind of clearing house for gossip and as a meeting point for travelers from across the lands. Many an adventure has commenced within its four walls and recently completed riverside terrace.Temporal Log
In the fifty years since its foundation, the tavern has become justifiably famous for its selection of ales from across the continent, roaring fire and pack of stray cats who keep a sharp eye out for loose change dropped on the floor or left on a table. There are different menus for dwarves (fried rat, rat kebabs) humans (hearty stews, bacon and eggs) and elves (plant based). All are delicious and Madame Ruskin is an expert at pairing the food with an acceptable ale, wine or bubbling elixir of dubious provenance. (֍֍֍֍֍ : Five Stars)
