In The Return of the Living Dead, a pair of bumbling medical warehouse workers accidentally unleash a toxin that can reanimate the dead. This leads to a nearby cemetery being contaminated while a group of young friends are hanging out there. Death and hilarity ensure as the zombies begin to overrun the neighborhood. The 1985 horror comedy popularized the notion that zombies love brains, and spawned four sequels of various quality.
NECA has revealed a new 2-pack based on the film. The Trash and Suicide 8” Scale Clothed Figure 2-Pack features the poster art versions of the two characters. The figures feature fabric outfits, and the set includes a tombstone, and a spray paint can. Pre-orders are live, with the set priced at $74.99. The figures are due for release in January 2025.
