At the Shanghai Toy Licensing Expo, a new series of DC Comics inspired action figures were shown by Beast Kingdom. They shared photos of their booth from the event, and among the display were a few DC Comics action figures. These weren’t in the style of their current DAH line, which features fabric outfits. The new photo showcases more traditional action figure sculpts, with plastic bodies, and limited soft goods. Among the display were:
- Darkseid
- Kingdom Come Superman
- Composite Superman
- Batman
- Batman (Batman Returns)
- Penguin (Batman Returns)
No details were shared on scale, release dates, or pricing. We’ll update when more photos and details are shown.
UPDATE:
They have revealed two additional figures for the DC line, featuring Michael Keaton’s Batman, and Danny DeVito’s Penguin from Batman Returns. The figures are part of a new Dynamic 8ction Heroes line. No word on if these will remain at 1/9 scale.
