A new license announcement has been shared by Super7. They will be producing figures based on the classic Micronauts toy line. No additional details were shared at this time.
The original sci-fi action figure line features detailed 3.75″ scale action figures from Takara, and later Mego. The line featured action figures, playsets, and vehicles. The figures featured a unique connector system, allowing kids to swap parts between figures. The original line ran from the late 70s until 1980. Companies such as Palisades and SOTA have tried revivals in the past, but ultimately they released no products. The most recent revival came at the hands of Hasbro, who released the Micronauts Classic Collection toy set in 2016.
