New DC Multiverse Pre-Orders – Riddler, Scarecrow, Classic Batgirl, Failsafe and More

McFarlane Toys is popping a chunk of new DC Multiverse pre-orders today with 7 new releases.  This coupled with yesterday’s Batman with Mobius Chair and Dr. Mid-Nite.  Plus the upcoming Batman Returns wave for the movie folks (tomorrow).  Check the links to snag em, read on for pics and details as we round it up.

Originally starting her career by imitating Gotham City’s legendary Dark Knight, Batgirl has since become her own woman, fighting crime in an original style, and putting her years of training and brilliant mind to work protecting Gotham City’s under-served neighborhoods

The Riddler (Batman: Hush)

The Riddler is a conflicted criminal. His dreams of wealth and prosperity are often at odds with his love of finding a worthy competitor—namely the Batman—to challenge to a game of mental and physical gymnastics.

Failsafe Mega Figure

In the process of Batman™ creating failsafe plans to stop Justice Leaguers in the event that one of them went rogue (a process that would later lead to the Tower of Babel incident), Batman’s artificially constructed Zur-En-Arrh™ persona activated and created an android capable of stopping him in case Batman ever took a life. Zur-En-Arrh created Failsafe using technology from various cybernetic villains previously faced by the Justice League™, including Amazo™. Failsafe remained dormant in the Batcave for years until The Penguin faked his own death and framed Batman for homicide. While there were provisions in its programming for Batman being framed, unfortunately, they needed to be activated by the late Alfred Pennyworth™
