They were $8.99 and they are virtually identical to the original release (with a solid head). Looking at the back of the packaging it looks like this wave will only be the more popular characters

I like the fact that they put the mini Krang with Shredder in there although I wish they released the figure sized Krangs Body version that it came with. I am kinda baffled that Slash made the cut though.
It's also funny how Playmates cut corners using generic packages with Stickers on the bubbles to identify them.

Nice! I still have mine, and all complete too, but this is great for those of us who want to relive that time.
Very cool indeed! I do agree on the packaging, though, could have been a bit nicer, and not half fast

I would consider getting Donatello, Casey, April and/or a Leonardo. But I would love a Mutegeon Man, Yusaki Yojimbo and Ray Filet!

These just came out at my local Target. I felt compelled to buy them, but I'll wait for a sale or something.

Cool little nostalgic kick in the face. I like that with the DVD stickers and such they're unique from the actual originals, but still relatively close enough in style at the same time.

I kept mine (as well as some of my original TMNT) from when I first got them as a kid. I was totally into this line in 5th grade, and I had a ton of the original figures. Seeing these toys in Target really took me back to the fun I had seeing these in retail as a kid

I'm not sure if I will be picking this up. These cost double the price they were a couple of years back. Also, I want the NECA turtles more, as I read the scans of the original book at the official TMNT site when I was in college, and was blown away by how different it was. I LOVED IT! So the NECA figures appeal to me more. Nonetheless, seeing these reissues is a nostalgic kick in the face. In a good way. I am all about full articulation, but in rare cases, can overlook it so long as each figure in the line is consistent, plus these are nostalgic to me. It helps that I have no idea where my originals are, and that the last time that I saw them a decade or so ago, their forearms were detached and a pain to reattach(mere pegs, but they were hard to reattach!). These figures are all consistent in articulation, and I LOVED these as a kid! If we see samurai Leo, the Sting Ray guy, Wingnut, and others, I may bite, I just wish these were cheaper. Oh and the Party Van? Man I had to give mine up to my cousin when I was 6! See, his dad(my uncle) had bought it for me, but then my cousin started crying, and being that he wanted it more, I gave it to him. So perhaps I will buy the van too. It's been 20 years since I've seen one! |

I hope we also see Mutagen Man Yusagi Yojimbo And one of my personal favorites Baxter "The Fly" Stockman Also it would have been nice to see this version of Krang since it was released after I stopped collecting the turtles
