This is a pretty cool revelation. My buddy SilverOptimus (you may know him from our sister site TFW2005.com) sent me a message showing that Hasbro has applied and/or reapplied for a bunch of trademarks related to the 80;s toy line, Visionaries. Some of these trademarks were filed/refiled as recently as this week. Visionaries: Knights of the Magical Light was a fantastic toy line from the late 1980’s. Fans will remember the figures for having holographic stickers on their chest and weapons. It was a short lived, but fondly remembered, toy line. Here are the related listings that have been filed:

You’ll notice the same thing a few different times. Some are marked for Action Figures. Others are marked for other merchandise as well as film and TV applications. The trademarks originate from a few years ago, but were recently re-upped so Hasbro could retain these specific names and applications, while a few others related to the brand (not listed above) were allowed to expire last year.
