Diamond Select Toys recently dropped Marvel Minimates Series 61, an Avengers Age of Ultron themed wave. In it we get several new looks at classic characters including Iron Man, Captain America, Thor, Hawkeye, Black Widow and Ultron. Toys R Us has an exclusive set as well with Quicksilver and Scarlett Witch. We have the whole comic shop wave in hand and have a detailed gallery for you after the break!

Overall
Overall this is a solid but expected line up for Age of Ultron. All the figures are core characters in the movie and feature their movie decos. I particularly liked the Iron Man, the paint really pops. Caps shield is also well done, featuring a metallic sheen while being stored on the back or arm via pegs. The Ultron figures also have a slight metallic pop to them, really making this the wave of bling. Overall it’s an awesome line up which looks great on the shelf alone or as companions to a larger Avengers theme. We should be getting a ton more AoU Minimates over the coming months – they already have Hulkbuster, Hulk, Vision, War Machine, Bruce Banner, several unannounced “mystery” figures, and a blind bag wave with multiple Sub-Ultron variants planned.
