Mezco jumped back into the 6 inch articulated scene this year with the Mortal Kombat X line. So far we’ve seen Sub-Zero, Scorpion, Raiden and a TRU exclusive Glow in the Dark Raiden. One other variant for that bunch was the Ice Clone variant of Sub-Zero – rocking a clear blue plastic to mimic his icy form. This was their “Summer Exclusive”, debuting at SDCC and available online afterwards. It uses the wave 1 figure as a base and gives him new weapons – the ice ball everyone wanted with the core figure, and double knives. It’s a purposeful and well done reuse of the mold and we now have one in hand to take a look at.
