Star Wars The Force Awakens is only 23 days away and the toys keep dropping! TFA Black Series wave 2 figures started to trickle out all the way back on #ForceFriday in September, then in Asian markets, and now finally they are hitting North American shelves regularly. Wave 2 consists of Captain Phasma, Poe Dameron (in pilot gear), Guavian Guard, and Constable Zuvio. The case also comes with a repack of Wave 1 Finn and the standard First Order Stormtrooper. We’re going to take a look at Wave 2 here, minus Captain Phasma. She’ll get her own post later today, so check back in a bit for that! Star Wars The Force Awaken Black Series Constable Zuvio, Guavian Enforcer and Poe Dameron
Overall – these are solid filler figures, but none personally excited me. The helmet on Poe is well done. The Guavian Enforcer looks like a cool character but the figure is a bit dark and the weathering makes it dirty, I’ll have to wait for the movie to trigger a connection. Zuvio also looks like a really cool character, but again – no connection. The star of this wave is Captain Phasma, which we’ll show off later today.
