After numerous teasers where we have gotten a few glimpses, Pop Culture Shock is finally ready to reveal their John Carpenter’s The Thing 1/6 Scale Figures. In this weeks newsletter, they revealed that the first figures will make their debut at Wondercon 2016. The show runs from March 25th through the 27th.
Horror-meister John Carpenter (Haloween, Escape From New York) teams Kurt Russell’s outstanding performance with incredible visuals to build this chilling version of the classic The Thing. In the winter of 1982, a twelve-man research team at a remote Antarctic research station discovers an alien buried in the snow for over 100,000 years. Once unfrozen, the form-changing alien wreaks havoc, creates terror and becomes one of them.
We know that they have been prepping a Norris Spider-Head Creature as well as R.J. MacReady. We’ve seen them in various stages of creation. No word on if this will be the extent of the reveals, or if they will debut further figures from the line. We’ll update as more info hits.
