Galleries for the Capullo Designer Series figures from DC Collectibles continue today with a look at The Flash and Wonder Woman, the line’s first foray outside of the immediate Batman universe. Both feature the bulky 7 Inch scale bodies with Capullo art inspired face sculpts. They’re out now, so let’s take a look after the break courtesy of Entertainment Earth!

DC Collectibles Capullo Designer Series Flash and Wonder Woman
Overall
The Capullo Line has been one of my favorites since it launched back in 2014. They’ve extended it past it’s initial intent and are now pulling from later Greg Capullo stories with Justice League members that made appearances in the Batman (proper) book. The Flash and Wonder Woman here today, with Aquaman, Green Lantern and Superman coming down the road. If they get a Cyborg in there you’ll have a proper New 52 Justice League in Capullo style. I’ll take whatever I can get because I dig this line, but, I’m feeling these two less than the others released so far. The face sculpts are in line with the rest of the line, but that’s the biggest negative IMO. They are very specific to this line, hard to work in with other figures from other lines and companies. The Flash can work depending on what angle you hit him on, but Wonder Woman looks like a surprised Italian grandmother pretty much any way you look at her. Sculpt and articulation otherwise is solid on both, not a full range but enough and sharply done. Bottom line, these are pick ups if you dig the characters or look specifically, or are a Capullo Designer Series completionist.
