For Alien Day, the masters of Alien Busts, CoolProps, has released images and info for their next Alien release. They are producing a life size replica of the Big Chap Alien head that was originally created by H.R. Giger and eventually adapted for use in Alien. It features a clear dome, allowing owners to clearly see the human-esque skull underneath. The Giger’s Alien replica head measures nearly 36″ front to back. The replica was approved by the H.R. Giger Museum in Switzerland!
The Giger’s Alien Life Size Prop Replica Head will be available only in Japan and will be limited to just 150 pieces! I would keep an eye on Sideshow’s site, though, as they do distribute CoolProps items in North America. It won’t come cheap. The replica is priced at 197,000 Yen (about $1,767 USD).
