In this weeks newsletter, Pop Culture Shock shared some new info for the upcoming Street Fighter – Akuma 1/4 Scale Ultimate Statue, which debuted at San Diego Comic-Con 2017. This massive statue, which will includes multiple display options, including alternate head sculpts, an alternate torso and multiple display bases, will now be getting another addition. PCS Toys will now add a second set of legs to the EX release, essentially allowing owners to display two versions of Akuma at once. Akuma has always been a rival to series protagonist Ryu, but never truly a villain. He’s walked a fine line between good and evil in his quest for greater power, channeling the Satsui no Hado, but still holding onto his humanity.
The Satsui no Hado is a force to be reckoned with though, and even one as disciplined as Akuma is not immune to its dark influence. When Akuma reaches his full potential he begins to transform, taking on a more demonic appearance and the moniker of Shin Akuma!

When PCS Collectibles unveiled the Utimate Akuma 1:4 statue at San Diego Comic-Con we were overwhelmed by the positive feedback from the community, especially on our new Facebook Collectors Group! The fans were so excited about this Ultimate Akuma set, but the requests came pouring in for a second set of legs so that both torsos could be displayed side by side…and PCS listened.
We are pleased to announce that we will be including a second set of legs in the Ultimate Akuma EX set! The set will also include a second costume to offer our collectors even more options to display this incredible collectible!
