Time to take a look at some of the Kingdom Hearts items dropping from Tamashii Nations. Today’s first set is of the Proplica Keyblade. This is no S.H. Figuarts figure or accessory, this is a human sized Keyblade with lights and sounds to match. The primarily plastic piece comes in one giant box, no assembly required. Mickey logo on a chian dangles from the hilt just like in game when it’s wielded by Sora. It even has plastic risers, with the base in a Mickey silhouette and the blade rests being hearts seen in the KH logo. Pressing the button on the handle triggers different lights and sounds. When you tilt the unit at 45 degrees, it triggers a special set of lights and sounds ending with the famous keyhole being projected from the end of the piece. You can point that at any wall and pretend you are in game (or make your cats chase it :) ).
Overall it’s a really well done piece that Kingdom Hearts fans or cosplayers will be happy with. This has dropped in Japan, and shipped to some retailers already State side but is going quick.
