Time to take a look at the third and fourth release of the new DC Collectibles DC Essentials line. Flash and Reverse Flash get repped here sporting Rebirth era suits, which are pretty clean and timeless, they can easily swap in any Flash display. The figures use the same base body as Batman and Deathstroke, and between the two there are no significant changes to sculpt. Paint differentiates the two. If there is any sculpting change with the face it’s minimal, the different style of painting the lips on is the biggest change there.
Overall they are sharp especially in paint and it’s application, but both have the same issues as Batman and Deathstroke, see our previous story for the full run down. Short version – tolerance issues with the leg joints and overly long arms. It makes sense for these guys to be repaints of each other, but being the same body build as the previous two and next couple rounds is a negative.
