Tamashii Nations has posted the product page for their upcoming S.H. Figuarts Tao Pai Pai (aka Mercenary Tao) from the original Dragon Ball animated series. The younger brother of Master Shen is a skilled assassin and mercenary who charges a premium for each kill. Hired by The Red Army to kill Son Goku, Mercenary Tao nearly succeeds, but is ultimately defeated (multiple times) by the young fighter.
The Mercenary Tao figure stands just under 6″ tall. It includes multiple interchangeable hands, interchangeable portraits including his tongue attack, replacement pants, a 7-star Dragon Ball, flying columns, a stand for flight display, and large and small flight effects. For its Japanese release, the figure is a Bandai Premium Web Exclusive. Tao Pai Pai is priced at 7,150 Yen (about $67 USD), and is set for release in February 2020.
