Star Wars Black Series Force FX Elite Darth Revan Lightsaber

Hasbro has been upping their Force FX game recently, adding in new features and tech to their high end lightsaber line. The Force FX Elite series continues that with the addition of removable kyber crystals, removable blades, metal stands, new light/sound effects in the blades and more. Today we are taking a look at the recently released Darth Revan piece. This features a unique color change option going from red to purple. The Kyber crystal can be inserted and depending on what your blade color is, it will keep that charge and color after you take it out. The “fangs” around the tip of the hilt open and close smoothly. It is a really well crafted piece that celebrates the KOTOR game and Revan.

I don’t go deep on lightsabers or role play here personally. I have the first Kylo one hanging here, and have had and traded out a couple earlier pieces over the years. Some random helmets are scattered around the office. If I had a bit more space, there would be more for sure. But I always enjoy being a kid again when a lightsaber comes my way, it’s a big upgrade from the green and blue wiffle ball bats my friends and I smacked each other with as kids. The tech in this one is a cool upgrade, a button for laser deflections, new sounds depending on how you move. For someone that just pops into lightsaber world every so often, it’s a definite upgrade in overall experience and was fun to check out.
