Super7 has revealed that they do indeed have the Silverhawks license, and the first (non-toy) products are available now. Silverhawks was a short lived cartoon series that aired a single 65 episode season in 1986. The cartoon was released alongside a toy line that was notable for their excellent figure sculpts, and vac-metal bodies, making them stand out among many toys of the 80’s. The unique concept, and excellent toys have long been a fan favorite among collectors, with fans hoping to see a revival that has never materialized* until now. The story followed a group of elite cyborg protectors known as Silverhawks. The group is tasked with protecting limbo for the space gangster known as Mon Star.

*Mon Star makes a brief appearance in the Thundercats 2011 TV Series.
