Play Arts Kai - Yuffie and Sonan from Final Fantasy VII Remake, and Cloud with Fenrir Reissue from Advent children - The Toyark

A few weeks back, Square Enix released their PlayStation 5 update to Final Fantasy VII Remake known as Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade. Along with the update, a PS5 exclusive downloadable mission was released as well, known as Final Fantasy VII Remake INTERmission. In the INTERmission DLC, you control Yuffie in a side story that will eventually see her intersect with the main cast of FF7 Remake. Two new Play Arts Kai figures from INTERmission were announced by Square Enix, featuring Yuffie and her fellow warrior Sonan.

The Yuffie Kisaragi figure stands just over 10″ tall. Yuffie comes in her Moogle disguise, and will include two swap out portraits, multiple interchangeable hands, a large Shuriken weapon, and a figure stand. Sonan Kusakabe stands a little over 10″ tall. The figure includes a Bo Staff, multiple interchangeable hands, and a figure stand. The figures are priced at about $145 USD each (depending on retailer). They are schedueld for release in June 2022.

Also announced was that the massive Cloud with Fenrir Play Arts Kai Set from the Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children animated movie was getting a reissue. This set was last released in 2018. It will include interchangeable hands, an interchangeable portrait, a wide array of swords (that do not combine), a swap out left arm, and a figure stand. Fenrir, the motorcycle, has attachments to store all of the various swords as well. Thsi set is priced about $362 USD (depending on retailer). It’s due for release in January 2022.
