To celebrate the 40th anniversary of The Evil Dead, a new Ash Williams Ultimate 7″ Scale Figure has been revealed by NECA. Kicking off what would become a 40+ year battle for it’s hero, The Evil Dead introduced Ash, the Necronomicon, and the deadites to horrors fans. Unlike the movies and show that followed, The Evil Dead lacked the dark humor that became a staple for the brand. It was a scary, brutal, and impressive horror film, made by a young Sam Raimi and his best friend Bruce Campbell.
The new Ash Williams Figure includes three interchangeable portraits, two sets of swap out hands, a chainsaw, a shotgun, an axe, a tape recorder, an a lantern. The figure will be available in early 2022. Pre-orders are not yet live, however you can see the new photos after the jump.
