Shout Factory and NECA have again teamed up to celebrate another horror franchise by offering a new exclusive figure. The original Child’s Play trilogy is getting the 4K Ultra-HD Blu-Ray treatment from Shout Factory. Yesterday, films 1-3 became available to pre-order directly from the Shout Factory website. Along with the movies, fans were treated to an exclusive Charred Chucky Retro 8″ Scale Action Figure. The 5.5″ tall figure is burned head-to-toe, and includes a knife accessory.
If you were using your Memorial Day as a reprieve from the constant need to be near an electronic device to not miss out on the latest limited pre-order; My friends, you’re only somewhat out of luck. While the stand-alone figure, which was priced at $39.99, is sold out, you can still get the figure by ordering one of the 4K Blu-Ray sets. Those are priced at $153.90 or $210.93 depending on which set you order. There’s also a $6.99 handling fee for each set ordered. The Child’s Play Blu-Ray sets are due out August 16th.
