We kick off Labor Day weekend with the latest answers for the GI Joe 2011 Q&A!
1) Why did Pursuit Of Cobra wave 4 cases not see a canadian card release? This has severely reduced the number of wave 4 figures available to canadians. Wave 4 cases had 3 of each of the 4 figures. The US carded revision cases being sold in canada don’t have destro or shadow tracker. Did you not take this into consideration when deciding not to give us wave 4 cases?

2) The 12″ figures released for the GI Joe 30th Anniversary line use dated bodies. Another incarnation of GI Joe, like the 12″ figures, featured clothing and multiple accessories, but also at a cheaper price. Why was the decision made to bring back the 12″ figures, instead of Sigma 6?
2) The 12″ figure holds a certain nostalgia and instant recognizability with fans and children alike. G.I. JOE was the first action figure, and it’s format was 12″ tall. Sure, the articulation isn’t as great as the 8″ range G.I. JOE produced under the Sigma 6 Commando line, but there is something magical about the 12″ figure, something iconic, which continues to make it a popular favorite for adults and kids alike.
3) The new Sky Striker is far more sturdy compared to the original. Kudos for that! We have heard that the tooling for the original Night Raven still exists. Is it in usable condition, or would it have to be retooled to be far more sturdy, with the body made in separate pieces to reduce box footprint on shelves like the new Sky Striker?
