The 7th Voyage of Sinbad – 2-Horned Cyclops Statue by X-Plus

Star Ace Toys and X-Plus have released photos and details for their next item in the Ray Harryhausen’s 100th Anniversary Collection. They are releasing the 2-Horned Cyclops Statue, who appeared in the 1958 movie The 7th Voyage of Sinbad. This is the second Cyclops Statue in the line, as they previously released the single-horned cyclops from the film. In the movie, the 2-horned Cyclops battles a dragon. The soft vinyl statue stands at 12.5″ tall and includes a movable eye, and an articulated jaw. There’s also a Deluxe Version, which includes a diorama display base.

The 2-Horned Cyclops is priced at $184.99. the Deluxe version is priced at $274.99. The statue is due for release in the Third Quarter of the year. You can see the new photos and additional details below.

2-HORNED CYCLOPS 32CM SOFT VINYL STATUE (RAY HARRYHAUSEN)

The master of stop-motion special Effects, Ray Harryhausen, created many memorable creatures. One of the most popular is the Cyclops and he did more than one version. Star Ace had such great success with the original single horned Cyclops that now they are bringing out the 2-horned version, most famous for fighting a dragon.

This menacing creature has an articulated eyeball that can be rotated. His jaw is also articulated for different display options. Traditionally sculpted by the artisans of the famed creature shop of Kaibutsuya, this detailed Cyclops statue is made from soft vinyl and stands 32cm tall. Each piece is hand-painted to bring out the very fine details of the sculpt.

This Deluxe version of this statue includes a polyresin display base with a miniature recreation of the cave entrance from the dragon’s lair.
