The relaunch of the Manglors brand by Toyfinity Toys looks to be a big hit with Glyos fans, as each assortment looks to sell out. Toyfinity has brought back Wave 1.5 of the new line, which featured the Manglord and the Protolord. Joining the assortment is a new colorway known as the Dactylian Acolyte, and a new set of Dactylian Mordles. These are all in-stock and ready to ship!
For those that may need a refresher, the Manglors toy line consisted of a number of creatures and characters that were made of a tacky rubbery material. The idea behind the line is that you could tear the limbs off each of the characters and swap them to create your own monsters. A novel idea that never quite worked, especially when tackiness of the rubbery material wore off, or dust accumulated on the pieces.
Like their previous releases, the Manglors are Glyos compatible. This means the intended swap out aspect of the original line now works as intended. This also means you can swap parts from a number of other toy lines. For those that aren’t familiar, Glyos compatible releases use a uniform peg system across multiple toy lines, allowing for seamless interchangeable play between figures. So if you purchased any of the previous Toyfinity Zeroids, Knight of Darkness, or Robo Force items, these can be used to build entirely new creations.
