Masters of the Universe In-Hand Looks - Flying Fist He-Man, Filmation She-Ra, ToG Rattlor and More! - The Toyark

Time for a Random Photo Shoot – MOTU Edition. Over the last several months since our last MOTU gallery, I got a chunk of new MOTU figures, most with no rhyme or reason. I fell out of being a completionist with Turtles of Grayskull, but am still picking up random ones I like. I snagged that Skeletor with Throne, still not sure how that wasn’t an exclusive somewhere. And then that Prince Adam and Cringer Filmation set was perfection so that got gotten. Toss in that Mattel has been very kind, sending some samples to check out. The most recent batch of those include recent releases of Masterverse Flying Fist He-Man, Revelations Keldor, Origins Filmation She-Ra, Ram-Man, Mantenna, and Turtles of Grayskull Rattlor.

So, today is a quick catch up shoot just to show off each fig basic+ style. Not a full review. Not a full photo shoot. Just some cool MOTU pics to check out.

I’ll post some very quick thoughts from my session with them all.

Really dig the Skeletor and Throne set. Hood is a little wonky, so don’t like that fit. Unhooded that’s a great head.

Flying Fist He-Man is sharp, but it’s from a later period of the OG run that I wasn’t into personally, so doesn’t have that Nostalgia connect for me, again personally.

Filmation stuff is well done, I also cracked He-Man and Skeletor. I’m ok building out a small nook, but I don’t need to go all in on these. He-Man and Skelly, the Cringer set, She-Ra, pretty close to good for me there.

Turtles of Grayskull is still a great line, I just missed a PO round, then they announced year 2, and I don’t have room as it is. So I will narrow down Year 1 to besties, and then pick up randos. This Casey is solid, lots of cool weapons and a sharp head sculpt. Mikey – silly and awesome as he should be.

Back in the summer when I was super busy – the Mattel team sent a signed Snout Spout MattelCreations.com excluisve. I want to thank the team for doing that, very cool piece. Didn’t want to ruin it so box shots only. Check the figure over there, it’s another sharp deep cut piece.
