Finding Ripley in a store would be the best option because you get to look it over and there is no shipping, just tax. I never got a Bishop but yeah of the 6 or so I've come across only half had good/passable eyes.

I know Randy has said that NECA intend to do more Nostromo crew members from Alien. Being a big fan of actor Harry Dean Stanton, I would love to see a 7 inch figure of Brett from Alien.

I know they've said that they can't get any more marines from Aliens but I guess they could maybe get more Nostromo crew if they don't have them already. I don't imagine Harry Dean Stanton being very hard to get likeness rights for IF he is interested, sometimes it's more that the specific actor isn't interested in a toy being made of them rather than being too hard to get or whatever. We already know they don't have John Hurt's likeness and I recall hearing that Ian Holm is also off the table so no Ash either.

Still, I'm glad that NECA was able to get the Hudson likeness from Bill Paxton, considering he's an a-list actor. Harry Dean Stanton seems like a man of the people, so I suspect he'd allow his likeness to be used for a Brett figure. |

You make a very good point. I asked actor Al Matthews about what happened with the Apone figure NECA was going to make from Aliens and he told me that the issue was out of his control because it was union-related. He currently lives in UK, so that may have complicated the issue. Although Matthews seemed to like the idea of making a figure and is proud of Apone's character, I suspect NECA began making the Apone prototype before anything could be finalized. I was glad that they were able to turn the Sgt. Apone figure into Sgt. Craig Windrix, but hopefully we'll see a non-likeness version of Apone from the proposed Kenner Aliens tribute line.
