Talk about your toylines coming out of left field over and over again... Bandai Creation has yet again come up with another new series of Godzilla figures to whet the appetites of all the kaiju fans out there, except this time, they're actually providing some warning in advance. In the past, whenever a new Godzilla series has appeared on the horizon, it would do so quietly at KB Toys mainly, and with nobody expecting it.
According to Diamond, the latest series of figures is set to be released in December. Major retail chains such as Toys"R"US, CVS Pharmacy, and Kmart may also carry the line. Diamond Toychest - Godzilla Collectible Figures 2009 Series Unfortunately, there are not actually many new figures in this series. In the 11" scale that premiered last year, Godzilla 2004 and Mechagodzilla Kiryu are joined by Gigan 2004. The 6" scale includes rereleases of Anguirus 2004 (Series 3), Godzilla 2000 (Series 4), Godzilla 1968 (Series 4), and Destoroyah (Series 4), plus newcomers Godzilla 1954 (a figure originally represented in Series 1, but with an entirely new sculpt) and Mechagodzilla 1974 (totally new).

Third-most views in this subforum, zero replies. Sad.
BBTS now has preorders by the case, and images of the figures.

Glad to see this line isn't dead. I always wanted these kinds of toys over here as a kid. I have most of the ones released so far. The sporadic and unmentioned release dates have made it a paint to collect though.

These Figures have already hit the Street!! I found Both the First Godzilla as its called and the 70's Version of MechaGodzilla up at a Toys R Us in Maplewood MN, I really like the new scuplt of the New Godzilla, And the MechaG is a very great figure its self, Just wish they would have made 4 "new figures instead of 2 new ones and rehashing of past line figures, I was told there is a Repainted Burning Godzilla that is just plain Grayish green.

You're the only person who's ever mentioned such a thing as an all-gray Burning Godzilla (I guess he would be a generic Heisei Godzilla then).
There are seven figures confirmed in this wave, the two new sculpts (Godzilla 1954 and Mechagodzilla 1974), the four figures from Series 4 (Hedorah was not previously listed), and Final Wars Anguirus from Series 3. It does not sound like the 12" figures are released yet. I can't wait to grab that Gigan!

Not the first images out there, but an awesome set of pics courtesy of gforever, a member of the ClubTokyo/Monster Zero forums.

As for G'54, not bad on the side view. When looking at the front view, G really put on a lot of weight.... Anyways, enjoy the group pics below. Some pics are a little blurry. I'm not feeling well today so these are quick shots... Off topic, I haven't been to a ToysRus in years! I saw original 1980s Teenage Mutant Ninja turtles figs as well as Kamen Rider Dragon Knight (Ryuki) figures. Cool stuff!

Cool pictures and toys of Godzilla. I have heard much about the Godzilla and its origin. Am very much eager about the Godzilla series and comics. I use to collect many Godzilla toys too.
