Looks better than the render at least. Hard to say if I'm sold. All my previous criticisms are still pretty much there.
The Bucky O'hare figures are spectacular...Boss Fight is great...I think it depends a lot on the others. Brutus especially.

I like how brand new the thing already has scraped paint on it's joints. Not a good sign.

It's not a production figure. It's hand painted. As mentioned in the post, this is the paint master, which they use to show the factory what the final colors should look like.

Yep, and Boss Fight always color matches their joints. So in the final figure those joints will certainly not be painted at all. Absolutely no concerns over paint chips.

Looks great. Waiting on the preorders. Why not on the day when you post the preorders, throw up some other planned renders like Wimpy and some other alternate outfit/face Popeyes and Blutos?

I'm sold on that for sure!

Everything about it is crispy. The lack of ankle/foot articulation is okay I guess. And yeah, I'll have to get the Popeye to complete it. It's a great company. I know the final product will be a fine piece of plastic. It's worth buying for a lot of reasons.

You got me Boss Fight! You guys rock!

Then this would be the comic strip version of Olive's brother, the fat guy in the hat (that is not Wimpy) for film purposes.

It's sad that their Bucky O'Hare line is probably dead and we'll never get the rest of the main characters.

Whatever happened to Boss Fight's VITRUVIAN H.A.C.K.S. line? I haven't heard a peep about it in ages. I was really looking forward to the sci-fi line they announced a while back.

It seems like they just quietly abandon lines after awhile without officially announcing they have no further plans for them. Diamond Select has also done that all too often with many of its licensed properties (Pulp Fiction, X-Files, Star Trek, Buffy, Gotham, Muppets). I dread they do the same thing with their LOTR line and we never get the full Fellowship completed. I've pretty much given up hope on anymore Tron characters too from DST. All they want to do is just churn out repaints of the 3 existing figures.

But coming back to Boss Fight, yeah I think their H.A.C.K.S. line is dead just like Bucky O'Hare. They are a small company and seem to only want to focus on one or two properties at a time and have apparently moved on to Popeye and other stuff now.

Mimi LaFloo and the Storm Toad Troopers had a BBTS restock just a few months ago. I'm hoping Boss Fight continues to release, just very slowly. Their Bucky O'Hare releases have never been too fast. I'm still hopeful to have a complete cast.

Yeah, because Popeye is going to be a HUGE moneymaker. The perfect license for a small, cash-strapped company to take on to really rake in the dough. Uh-huh.

None of Boss Fight's releases have ever been "too fast," sadly. They always take forever to get their shit out.

I just saw some reissues of the mythical Vitruvian Hacks go up for preorder at BBTS, but haven't seen anything about a sci-fi line. I think they just started a zombie one a few months ago too?

Haha yeah, Popeye is such a stagnant property. The Mezco figures were good and drummed up interest? I don't know, has there been ANY recent Popeye cartoons? I remember a revamp cartoon in the 90's, but that was a long time ago. And these ones are based on the comics more too anyway right?

Boss Fight announced a sci-fi line waaayyyyyyy back in 2017. But sadly, it never got past concept art and hasn't been mentioned since.

Oh those do look kind of cool, that sucks. Maybe they'll relaunch it when Four Horsemen finally kick off Cosmic Legions haha.

Damn $140 for the Popeye set? No discount for the lot? That is very steep.
