Not all that impressed as a toy but again I'm almost 100% sure it's one of the preview/protoform figures like they did for the first movie so there's really no reason to be jumping the gun on ROTF toy's.

Looks like there is a generous amount of articulation too, I wish the head was molded in blue as opposed to grey with blue being painted on. I would hate to get paint scratched off of mine. I wish the forearms weren't hollow either. |

Looks decent. I like how the head resembles his G1 self. However, I hope there will be a bigger figure of Soundwave. For such an important character, you'd think they'd make a Leader version of him or at least a Voyager.

I'm just curious as to how he's going to look in the movie now.

I still think this fig looks beyond man kind's concept of awesome. Gives me much hope for Soundwave in the movie being truely badass.

I guess he looks alright, hope this is a protoform. I do like the nod to G1 though.

Nice to get a clearer pic of a toy that I will be buying by default. I agree he looks like a protoform, hopefully we get something official about it soon.

S250 posted even clearer pics in the news thread over on TFW. Soundwave's actually transformed to resemble a satellite in them!

Holy... I need to pay more attention to the movie stuff!
I was really hoping that Soundwave would be in the next film. This figure looks pretty vanilla but I anticipate it being a protoform like the others. |

The newest photos that Vangelus mentioned show some nice close ups. I was going to get him already because, hey, it's Soundwave, but based on the pics I've seen now, I would probably get him even if he was Stinky McStinkerson of the planet Sticky Poo.

The new pics show off the toy really good. Looks like they got the spirit of Soundwave right with this toy.

Wow, looks pretty good - and like a satellite - in the new pictures. This is definitely a nice protoform or preview or whatever figure, and I wouldn't mind seeing it in stores soon. Probably not until next year though.
