okay I haven't read any comics in a while but since when did the "swamp thing" become the "swamp hawkman"? though I do like the design... |

Definitely some interesting stuff here. I'm not a fan of how he looked in Arkham Asylum, but this Arkham Origins Bane looks pretty cool. I'll most likely get him. Joker isn't bad, but I'm not a fan of that face. If it looks better in-person I might get him.
Deathstroke still looks pretty cool, so I'll probably get him. Though if the inevitable Arkham Origins version looks better, I'll get that one instead. I kinda wish DC Collectibles was doing Injustice figures in this scale, rather than the 3-3/4" stuff. I kinda want that Harley design, but she wouldn't look right with any of the other DC figures I have...

I haven't read all the issues yet, but I think it was only in one issue. Just a way he chose to manifest some of his power that day. I assume he can regrow or lose the wings as he sees fit. I think it's rad they actually made it a figure. Would really love to see more pieces from the Swamp Thing and Animal Man corner of the DCU in the toys.

As always DC collectibles disappoint with the articulation department way to go DCC. 2013 and this is still how you do articulation? Goodbye!

But that's how it's been for years, if you wanted articulation then you bought a Mattel figure. The only time I think Mattel was close when it came to articulation AND sculpt was the DC Superheroes line. They've (DCC) been tinkering with articulation as shown with the Wave 4 Arkham City Batman and it was just okay.

Personally I hate it when they make Bane's mask in this kind of style. It reminds me too much of his Young Justice design, which is pretty much the only redesign I hated on that show. It just ends up looking like facepaint or something. What's so wrong with keeping his mouth and nose covered? I don't mind the eyes being visible - though I do prefer the red lenses/goggles.
That's just me picking nits, though. I'll be buying it with a high likelihood of customizing him a bit, unless the game ends up selling this particular incarnation. |
