Just saw a John Stewart Green Lantern while looking for something else at GameStop.

The Endless Winter figures don't have "snow" speckled on their footwear.

Martian Manhunter's joints have glow effects (maybe the eyes, too).

They don't have glow effects. It's just that the plastic and paint being used reacts to black light. The eyes "may" have been intentional, but the joints certainly not. Joint plastic is different from that used to make the torso and arms.

The White snow on their legs was indeed just for the photoshoot.

So Wonder Woman is indeed missing the red shoulder pads. Her bracelets are too short and unpainted. Some other little areas that are sculpted but need paint(though not the end of the world). I like the face sculpt and paint apps. I think it might be the strongest yet. But there's not enough pointless side eye. Might be something I pick up on clearance but man the really wanted her to be sold despite not going all the way in replicated the comics with the BAF torso.

Batman: Man I'm surprised how inessential Batman is if you don't mind not having the sword. The head might be good for customs. Though I wonder how posable it actually is with the torso.

Black Adam: I think it looks great but not sure why they gave him a high collar. It reminds me of that young Dwayne Johnson picture people liked to photoshop into Black Adam. There are cases where I like raised logos like with Superman. But Black Adam I think needed something thinner if not flat. Certainly the logo could have played with the curvature of the collarbone more. The head sculpt looks great to me. But this lack of Side Eye is just ruining the figure.......like the figure has less use because he can look in either direction.

Green Lantern: ..........it's the same figure. It's the exact same figure. Why bother adding him to the roster when it's the exact same figure. We should have just gotten a solo Hal, no two pack, and then bring in John.

Zod: They made the hands too small and the lower arm too long which adds on to making the hands too small for the whole body. It's things like this I wonder what happened behind the scenes. Did no one point out on the computer the hands seemed a little undersized in comparison to this massive frame?

All in all, everything generally looks good. But it's those little things that just seem odd. Also the resistance to improving articulation in the torso. The arms and legs are generally good. Maybe need some tweaks but not a priority.

So, they are glow effects based on your tedious mansplain.

It would be a very strange choice indeed were they to decide to only use GitD plastic/paint for the joints and pins. MM looks interesting, at the very least.

Some of the paint apps on the joker mega fig look like they have that black light gimmick too.

Well first off that was incredibly rude. Completely uncalled for.

To me a genuine glow effect is intentionally done as part of the design. I believe that the figures having any parts that glow is not intentional. They are material that just happen to glow under a black light.

As opposed to materials that absorb energy and the glow in the dark or materials/paint that reflect light in a certain way.

Green is one of those colors what the pigment contains phosphors. White is another.
But you don't often see it with Red/Blue.

Intentional or not, people have been manufacturing plastics and paints for decades. The people running these toy factories would know what glows and what doesn't. They're not amateurs.

And you're still mansplaining.

I'm happy to see Black Adam but man is it weird we still don't have a normal, standard comic Wonder Woman.

Just swap one of the heads with Gal Gadot. The Rebirth costume is based on her movie costume.

Endless Winter wave is up on BBTS/Dorkside/EE/Gamestop and likely everywhere else by the morning.

Green Lantern not only has different accessories, even BAF, the are differences in pain.

Actually is a good idea to have options, A LOT OF PEOPLE are not even familiar with this story and the BAF figure, only want a Green Lantern and there is a cheaper option.

I'm not exactly clear on what you're saying.
The switch in accessories to me still doesn't justify repackaging such a recent figure like this.

Because it's an essential BAF part, that's worse for those who already own this figure. They have to buy it again and it has no different itself besides having green gloves.

It's not like Batman/WW who while we have other figures these are unique designs to this set.

or

The Superman /Batman two pack has an unreleased Superman figure and a previously release Batman figure in alt colors and a new head.

If you don't want the BAF and already own John Stewart, you can easily pass on this upcoming figure as it offers nothing significantly new.

There's choice and offering good ones.
