Mmmm, considering the signed version immediately sold out, but I still expect this figure to show up in the rest of the world as well (it's one of the things I've to give McFarlane credit for, his global distribution as a relatively small toy company is a whole lot better than that of much bigger companies such as Hasbro), I imagine that means the signed version was limited to Target and won't make it overseas?

The exclusives have shown up overseas for sure, but since he said he only did 1000 of them, and he actually has to do that himself, I'd bet those are done and not showing up again.

He looks amazing, particularly the Spawn's cape. In the other hand, is funny how McFarlane tries so hard to convince fans of value of his sign.

That sculpted cape looks awesome. When the "Halloween Spawn" / "i.88" from S24 was released, I remember thinking that a Batman with that type of cape would be great. Don't care about the fabric one, never been a fan of cloth stuff in small figures. So hyped for this!

I'm really disappointed they still do pre-orders for the signed stuff like this. I was checking out only to be greeted with out of stock at the end. For something this limited only a subset get to actual fans while most just get scalped on ebay for hundreds. It would have been so much better if the 1000 signed ones were randomly sent out versus feeding the scalpers...

I was only interested in the figure and skipped the signed edition--but seeing that edition sell out so quickly leaves me with a slight regret.

Feels like the light blue paint makes it look a bit cheap here. There seems to be almost no shading?

There's never really any shading on these figures. Sometime we get a wash and that's about it.

What about hard bads?

McFarlane has done so many autographs that they won't be worth squat in a few yrs or perhaps it will depend on what is autographed.

It's already sold out. So now it's Ebay exclusive. Walmart/Target exclusives can F off.

I look forward to never, ever seeing this in Canada. These exclusives, from basically all toy companies, constantly being out of reach for me are really killing love of this hobby. I can only handle so much frustration before I give up and put my energy towards something a lot less annoying.

I could go for a variant in a darker shade of blue (almost black).

I like where Todd is going here. But I bet he was pissed off at having to acquiesce to that soft goods cape and charged $50 out of spite lol

This a pass for me. $50 for a non premium figure is a big ask

I'd be down with that. I'm cool with this too tho since it's OG accurate.

There's no shame in walking away from this hobby. I know a few people who gave up collecting toys due to these hard to find exclusives and their refusal to pay scalpers.

Just received two emails from Target. The first said that the release date for Year Two Batman is now September 9th (yesterday). The second email said the delivery estimate for my order is September 24.

Same. Except I got the 24th one first, then the 9th one after it. :/

My pre-order got cancelled today, I have heard from 15-20 people in the collecting community and they had the same scenario. I placed my order the minute it was available, Has anyone else experienced this? Kept getting delayed shipping notices, which I approved. Today it’s cancelled, very frustrating.

Same thing happened to me today too.

Jokes on Target though. I preordered it again and took advantage of a Target circle offer that took $10 off the total price.

And they gave me a $5 gift card for canceling my original preorder.

They cancelled mine too. I ordered a bit later after it launched, a couple hours. The non signed one. I have one coming from another source but still stinks.

Edit - actually, ordered within first 20 minutes, 9:16 AM.
