I believe the one on the left is the original 80's Joker from the Silver/Bronze age with the crowbar, while the one on the right is the "Killing Joke" and beyond Joker that influenced the Modern age late 80's, 90's, and beyond.

I like this black and grey color combination because it looks a lot like the animated series Batman, even the belt gives off that vibe. There is a new blue/grey 80’s Batman that McFarlane just made and that looks just like Neal Adams Batman. Or did that one just get sold out already??

The Joker in the center is the Golden Age Joker. He's known for committing more traditional crimes such as robberies and murders. Jason Fabok's concept art lists him as the Original Appearance Joker. The Joker on the right is the Killing Joke/Modern Age Joker. As the name implies, he's responsible for paralyzing Barbara Gordon in The Killing Joke story. He's also the Joker Batman has fought in recent years. While no one ever explicitly says it in the story, Bruce's conversation with Alfred at the end of Three Jokers suggests that he's the original Joker while the other two are copy-cats that he created. |

My assumption is that the Jokers will be a set.

The early listings that first leaked this assortment had each Joker as an individual figure.

Three pack, singles, singles with variant laughing or frowning heads, bronze editions, platinum editions, bloody 2-pack sets with one Joker and one Bat-family member, store exclusives with a deluxe base....

I've stopped buying the McFarlane DC MV variants (paint or unmasked head) figures. I'm just now focusing on buying original model/characters.
I'm not really a fan of Joker (only own one McFarlane DC MV from a clearance sale). I saw 2 '66 6" McFarlane Jokers at a Target today and left them on the peg due to disinterest. The 3 jokers is probably a pass for me as well. I wished they release more female figures. How many WW do we have now? 2 Batgirls? 2 Harley Quinns? 1 Batman Beyond Batwoman? How about Poison Ivy, regular Batwoman, Supergirl, Oracle, Hawkgirl, etc. I'm glad they're starting to introduce other characters (Dr Fate, Shazaam, etc.) besides Batman and Superman variants. Give us more variety in characters and more female figures (not just variants of WW) or I'm going to stop buying McFarlane DC MV altogether. |

So overdue for Power Girl.
I like these, but I'll hold off until I see if we get unmasked variants. I so want a Barbara Gordon head. I'm surprised that middle Joker is Original Appearance Joker, because in the story he was very clearly TDK Joker. |

I'd love to get a Black Canary. I really thought they'd have done one already when they started showing off the Injustice 2 figures.
After her yeah Power Girl and Big Barda are definitely up there. Inque from Batman Beyond would be awesome too. |

I love the KNightfall Batman. Still waiting for a traditional Robin aka Dick Grayson. Would love some silver age stuff, like a Lois and Clark Kent and so on. I LOVED the DCC Silver Age Superboy and Krypto and so on. I agree about the traditional and less repaints mostly. Todd said when he acquired the DC license he could do anything including 1/6 scale. I would love to see if he could do a 1/6 scale Superman. Those 12 inch figures McFarlane did back in the day still look great to this day. That Batman and 3 jokers have me super excited. Three Jokers, Batgirl, and Red Hood revealed.
I assume Batman will show up soon. So far they seem impressive. Batgirl and Red Hood definitely reuse parts from their prior figures. Joker seems to share the design style of the Mortal Kombat Joker but I don't see a straight reuse. -------- Batman added

I'm hoping they use the IJ2 figures to give us Cheetah. My Wonder Women are so alone.

I remember all my early-mid 80s Joker figures had that strange alien giant chin and cheekbones that stick out like wings. |

It's not the chin I'm referring to, it's the wrinkles in the four head, the bloated cheeks, and the black beady eyes.

But there are a couple of the newer comics where they are just trying to do this older looking style (like Brian Azerrelo's "Joker" and "Absolute Luthor/Joker") and that's what we wind up with. Hell, in "Absolute Luthor/Joker" Luthor looks like he's in his sixties he's so wrinkled. |

That Batman looks really great... If it had the black trunks, it would be my definitive Batman figure.

Unmasked Thomas still has his guns but that figure came out a good while ago now, from before this policy was actually in practice.

No guns seems to mean no guns. There hasn't been a "premium figure" that includes one, and I wouldn't expect that to happen. Thomas Wayne was the last to make it out, and even his unmasked second version took away the guns and gave him a sword. No sci-fi ray guns, no guns of any kind. I don't think we'd even see a cold gun with a Mr. Freeze at this point. Bloodsport's weapons generally didn't look anything like a real firearm, and they couldn't include any of those. The Dark Knight Returns Batman includes an alternate trigger figure hand that makes me think he was supposed to include his sonic gun like previous versions had, but McFarlane had to 86 it.
That Batman looks really great... If it had the black trunks, it would be my definitive Batman figure.

Then I guess he is the last one. Maybe it's the single packed rerelease Red Hood who had them stripped the second time around.

Yes, the gold label Red Hood had his guns taken away and instead he includes a crowbar and two (admittedly neat on their own) swords.

Official pics via Walmart. None of the figures are available to order just yet. The listing for The Comedian hasn’t been found just yet.
