DC Collectibles for March 2017 - Animated Figures, Statues and More

I feel kinda stupid for not realizing this sooner, but a friend pointed out that Batman V Superman's Batfleck's build and look is closer to Batman:TAS than it is DKR (other than the bat symbol). Looking at this expressions figure, I can definitely see the influence it had on the Batfleck design. Bravo, DC. impressed me.

Hey, didn't the cape pack have a different cape shown off?

I think there's two different packs, iirc, with one being more cape-centric. Could be wrong here. Either way, they definitely showed off a bigger "arms outstretched" version of the cape (kind of like the pose on the cover of Mask of the Phantasm).

Then again, I guess it doesn't matter to DC becuase they can show off whatever they want in their solicitations, it doesn't mean they are going to actually provide the item in the final product (see my Joker's missing left open hand rant in the Icons topic).

Sorry DCC, but I don't feel like buying a 4th TAS Batman just for the heads & accessories. I'm done with that line until they release TAS Batgirl & Poison Ivy.

I mean, there's still a lot of characters from the TAS style that they need to make; unless you mean that those are just your favorites.

Can't wait to get this Batman. Not a fan of that cloth cape, but I'm really interested in the one on the right (seems to be more "expanded" than the default one?), and those faces are quite good.

Poison Ivy is coming next summer, I'm sure Batgirl will be there down the line.

I mean they're the only 2 figs I need to have the "perfect" TAS collection.

Glad I've held off on getting a TAS Batman. Hoping to see the bigger gliding cape though.

Awesome! There's nothing here I want. I actually get a month off from spending money on DC stuff.

IDK how we havent yet gotten a Batman TAS Mr Freeze, or Scarecrow. New adventures is just subpar by comparison.
