Am I the only one that hates the idea of the armor being stored "inside Tony"? As cool as Extremis was, I just can't get with that concept.

I love how Marvel wanted to get rid of Extremis, which is fine, but they replace it with him going even further with the Extremis concept, and storing the whole suit in his body.. I hate this so much. I was okay with Extremis, and it became my favorite armor (I started reading comic around the beginning of volume 4)

I kind of dislike this too, but I'm willing to get on board with anything Matt Fraction is doing on Invincible Iron Man. I was a huge fan of the Extremis idea, though. Having the 'under-sheath' inside Tony, and then his armor would come to him and assemble perfectly if he summoned it.

@WindsofHorus: I actually don't know where the original images came from. I found the first two on the internets. The only thing I did was add the names. Vol. III I made myself.

Out of curiosity, was there a reason you listed the rescue armor after the bleeding edge armor?

I'm like 90% sure it came from an Iron Manual, I'll have to dig mine out out of curiousity.

@eisen: Anyway you can send me those scans so I can see for myself? lol
@BigT: No particular reason. I guess I just wanted the Bleeding Edge Armor first. I realize it's not chronologically correct. If you would like me to change it, I would have no problem doing so. p.s.: As I mentioned before, the model numbers are not of any real importance. For me, they're just there for aesthetics. If you guys have a different opinion or would like anything changed, let me know.

So I've browsed through figurerealm.com and I noticed, there are basically no comic accurate customes of the Model 9/Over Sized Red & Gold/Neo Classic Armor. This is a custom I've wanted to make for awhile.. but there's a problem... I've never made a custom before, and wouldn't have much of an idea how to. If I wanted to give this a shot, does anyone have a suggestion on how to make this armor? I figured as a base figure, I'd probably use the recent 2 Pack Classic Armor Iron Man.

I totally agree with you. I'm not buying any of the current Iron Man comics until he get a new armor, that's not apart of his body. They keep trying to turn Tony Stark into a cyborg, and I just don't like it.

I'm not too big a fan of the scale, I have some MU, but all the armors and villians coming out in this line is just so tempting, and it's getting real hard to keep walking past them.

That actually wasn't Matt Fraction's idea. Warren Ellis wrote the story with Adi Granov doing the artwork.

I've thought the complete opposite. For me his run as had a couple of good issues, and mostly issues that get me mad. The only arc I've enjoyed the whole way through was Stark: Disassembled.
