Alright that Venom has way more detail than I thought. Now I am definitely debating whether to buy it or not.

Are these in the same scale as the Toybiz Marvel Legends? That Storm is the figure I've been waiting for to finish my ML Giant Size X-Men #1 collection. I remember that there was a poll a while back in Toyfare to vote on a new Marvel Legends figure, and this version of Storm was on in it, as well as a great looking Magneto, but they both lost and dumb looking Sunfire won for some reason. The winning figure still haunts pegs at my local Multi-Media store, collecting dust.

They textured Venom, needlessly imho, but it's still a fantastic figure especially for the price. Why can't they have him glossy and smooth? Especially if they are going with classic Venom! Never understood the toad-skin texture of the toys, when the comicbook character NEVER showed such texture... But this looks too good to pass up if I come across it.

I wonder if we will ever see the figures proposed in that old Toyfare poll? I really wanted the Storm and Magneto figures that they made for the poll, and it would be such a damn shame if they never saw the light. I thought that the Toybiz Magneto was one of the worst in the whole line- I think he was just a repainted/retooled IronMan, too!!!
