Nice photos, Joe. I was just looking at this fig in TRU the other day. At 7" (?), it's a little large for my tastes. Still a pretty niffty fig!

Beautiful pics. I love this line, but skipped on picking up Lucy. Your photos are making me question that decision.

The Lucy is really well made. It's a solid figure, much like the Van Helsing. I can understand people who are only into the actual classic monsters not picking this up. It's stylistically different and more modern looking than those original monster designs.
Also, thanks for the kind words guys. Really appreciate it and glad people enjoy the pics.

She does have a "steampunk" feel to her, so I suppose she could work alongside some of the classic monsters.

I saw the figure at Toys R Us, but the version in TRU doesn't seem to include the regular head, only the vampire one with goofy googles. Can anyone confirm?
Great pictures as always. |

Not sure about the head, but the TRU versions don't come with all the accessories or base. So, you are probably correct. Still, $15 for a figure of this calibre, it's hard to complain.

The Toys R Us versions of DST Select figures are normally stripped down versions. Less accessories, no diorama pieces, but about $10 cheaper.

Yah the tru one is what i call dumbed down version. I got the normal one with the book packaging but may get the tru one to open as i love the book style packaging. And i gotta say after reading this review im damn tempted to open mine and not wait to get another.

Ever since the release of Gill-Man 2.0, they've been killing these releases. Wolfman and Mummy 2.0 figures are both fantastic as well.

Thank you all. I've always wanted this figure, but I didn't want to buy it until I see it in store, that's why I was kind of disappointed to see the TRU version came with the goofy goggle head (the goggle is not removable, right?) instead of the nice clean headsculpt. I was hoping perhaps they packed it half and half. I don't care for the diorama much, but I'd rather spring the extra $10 to get the nice headsculpt.

Then you'd definitely want to grab it online or at a comic shop. Entertainment Earth & BBTS have it for $23 plus shipping:

It may just be me but I get a bit of a Castlevania vibe off of her. Maybe Lords of Shadow-esque? I only played the first one.
Regardless she looks awesome and you got some great pics with her. |

The goggles and hood are TOTALLY removable. The face underneath has red vampire eyes and slightly pointed eyebrows and fangs painted in the mouth.
The alternate head is supposed to be if Van Helsing rescued her AFTER Dracula got to her. She became a vampire that hunts vampires with him. The ONLY thing different from the full DS version and the TRU version is the standard blond head. The arch way and long sword were dropped before production and they never changed the package. The TRU version comes with the base, the acid gun and the 2 short swords and pistol. So 25$ vs. 13$ for the exact same thing minus the blond head. |
