Odd choice doing him before 7 of 9.

I thought the exact same thing.
He's a good actor and he added something to Voyager, but the Doctor never made any sense. After all the rigmarole about Moriarty as a sentient hologram, Voyager just turns the EMH on and from that point forward, he's "alive" and a sentient being. |

This reminded me that I really want QMX to create a magnetic badge of the mobile emitter for cosplay. "I'M A HOLOGRAM!"

I thought parallel universes were just nonsense fantasies, but it seems I shifted into a reality where the Voyager EMH was played by Kelsey Grammer.

The likeness is really important to me, if I'm going to splurge for one of these figures, because let's face it -- the costume isn't exactly complicated or special in any way, and the body inside the jumpsuit is totally generic, so much of the value is derived from the quality of the head sculpt.
I feel about this the way I felt about the figure of Captain Picard: it's a nice first draft, but not good enough to justify the purchase price. I really, really hope somebody does a good sculpt of Leonard Nimoy as Wrath of Khan Spock. That would be my grail. |

The Data and Picard ended up looking really good in hand, despite Picard’s likeness being off in photos. I’m willing to take a chance with this and see what it looks like in hand.

Looks like they face scanned current Robert Picardo and not as he was when he played the Doctor on Voyager.
Very surprised 7 of 9 wasn't made before this. Actually, made first. |

Nobody willing to license Star Trek seems capable of capturing any of the actors. That doesn't look like Picardo.
