Choosing Brent as our next artist was both an unexpected and obvious choice.

As longtime fans of World of 3A and Spawn, we have greatly admired his contributions to ThreeA and McFarlane Toys, as well as his extensive impact across multiple industries.

Through his brand-defining style guides, iconic logos and exceptional packaging design, Brent has made a profound statement that resonates through many of our favorite brands and IPs. His work has helped shape giants in the video game, entertainment and collectibles industries, as well as cutting-edge indie game studios, concept artists, comic book creators and contemporary artists.

Wherever he’s been, Brent has made an impact - not just in design, but in branding and world-class creative direction as well.

We are incredibly honored to collaborate with such an exceptionally talented artist.

For the first time, Brent will embark on a fully personal project in collaboration with House of Gog - overseeing every aspect - from creative direction and branding to photoshoots, videos, packaging design and more.

Brent’s work on this project will be enhanced by tools like AI, a technology we’re eager to experiment with.

We understand the conversation surrounding AI in art. This project isn’t about replacing artists, but exploring new creative possibilities through a human-led process. Every piece will be a unique, authentic work of art, carefully handcrafted by a team of more than 20 talented artists over the past two years.

Brent is at the forefront, guiding this project with his signature style, vision and decades of experience.

At House of Gog, we celebrate the intersection of technology and creativity. AI serves as an extension of Brent’s incredible talent as an art director, enhancing rather than defining the final outcome.

In the process of creating the imagery and design for Ceremony, a variety of tools and techniques were employed to achieve the final aesthetic. Among these, Generative A.I. played a key initial role before being complemented by traditional methods, providing a unique combination of various processes - including hand-painted textures, digital paintover, color grading, photo-bashing and various software upscaling techniques.

It was a highly iterative process of sculpting ideas, shaping visual language and guiding the A.I. with intent, resulting in a truly striking illustration, reflecting Brent’s vision, style and curation.

As we continue our work with remarkable artists, we are truly excited to explore new avenues of creativity - just as we did with the talented Brent Ashe.

The intricate details and subtleties in this sculpt are nothing short of mind-blowing - a true feat of craftsmanship, even for the most seasoned artists. This was an experimental project for us - challenging, unconventional, and deeply rewarding. The result is a masterful blend of precision, vision, and raw artistic energy. The Presence of CEREMONY: A Sentient Awakening

As our first-ever bust, Ceremony carries a commanding presence that’s hard to ignore. It truly feels alive—eerily close to a real sentient being—a piece that anchors a room, starts conversations, and becomes a true centerpiece. The scale allows for incredible detail and expression, bringing the power and mystery of the DOMINION universe to life.

Though the composition carries the elegance of a classical bust, while the scale imbues it with an added sense of power and presence. Combined with the futuristic, A.I.-human collaborative nature of the piece, Ceremony becomes a bridge between eras—from timeless mythology to high-concept dark industrial sci-fi.

We know scale isn’t one-size-fits-all. That’s why we often try to offer smaller-format options when the design allows it—and with Ceremony, it absolutely worked.

The smaller version maintains the essence of the original, along with the same meticulous attention to detail in both sculpt and paint application. It also offers more flexibility for collectors—whether they prefer a more compact display or are working within a smaller budget

The Making of Ceremony [prototype]

Working on this experimental project - where A.I. played a key role - it's easy to overlook just how deeply hands-on and artisanal the entire process truly was. From concept to creation, every step of Ceremony was shaped by meticulous human effort, artistic vision, and traditional craftsmanship.

While the initial illustration was generated with help from A.I., it served only as a foundation. Brent Ashe not only refined that image with his own artistic and technical skills, but brought his extraordinary creative force to the project - transforming the base into something far greater. Through his graphic design, branding, world-building, and narrative sensibility, Brent infused Ceremony - and the broader Dominion universe - with his unmistakable signature: a distinct aesthetic and storytelling depth that informed every detail that followed.

Bringing that vision into the physical world required the collaboration of a team of highly skilled artists - sculptors, painters, mold-makers, and more - who approached their craft with the same care, dedication and technique as the pioneers of the garage kit era of the late ’70s and early ’80s.

And while our collectibles are produced in limited quantities using structured manufacturing methods, every piece remains handmade - honoring the spirit and technique of that golden age of old-school model-making.

Ceremony stands as a powerful testament to the synergy between emerging technology and timeless human craftsmanship. As A.I. becomes increasingly integrated into creative workflows, it's ultimately human hands and minds that shape the final outcome.

Brent Ashe’s “Ceremony”: Photoshoot BTS

Fellow collectors and dark arts fans,

We’re sharing a behind-the-scenes look at our recent Ceremony photoshoot with world-class art director and designer Brent Ashe.

Brent is a top-tier creative with a strong, distinct, and unconventional visual universe, so we knew we had to move away from typical studio photography. Enter local talent and exceptional photographer Chantal Levesque. Her freehand and instinctive approach brought a raw energy to the shoot.

The result aligned perfectly with Brent’s direction, giving the shoot a cinematic presence that sets it apart from anything we’ve done before.

The shoot was intense, focused, and filled with the kind of chaotic fun that happens when everyone’s in the zone.

Capturing the intricacies of this monochromatic statue was a challenge. But Brent and Chantal’s combined vision created a powerful, evocative portrayal that brought Neksis Vorn to life. Literally!

These aren’t typical product shots. They offer a more expressive and stylized approach to collectible photography.

Brent’s direction and Chantal's keen eye added a strong cinematic mood. It gave the whole shoot a sense of depth and intention that fits perfectly with Brent’s Dominion universe.

Production update:

“Ceremony” is moving forward. The statue and the smaller statuette are both fully cast. We're waiting on a production slot so we can move into painting and packaging.
Still on schedule for late Q4 2025 or early Q1 2026.

Brent Ashe's CEREMONY: From Prototype to Perfection

Why so many “Ceremony” prototypes?

Before a statue like Ceremony by Brent Ashe reaches your hands, it goes through several stages of refinement. One of the most important steps is creating multiple prototypes, or paint masters. These aren’t just duplicates, they each serve a specific purpose in bringing the final piece to life.

For Ceremony, we used different prototypes for:

- Reference for the workshop: This ensures the factory can replicate the exact colors, textures, and finishes we want for the final production pieces.

- Each cofounder having their own piece: Both the art director and creative director need their own prototypes to study, adjust, and approve. This allows them to make hands-on refinements.

- Events and photography: Some prototypes are reserved for preorders, marketing, and photoshoots. This lets us showcase the statue to collectors while production is still ongoing.

Even though these prototypes are technically the same statue, small variations naturally appear due to the handmade process. Each one plays a distinct role in making sure the final production pieces are as precise and polished as possible.
