I saw this the other day at Toys 'R Us, priced at $39.99. Lot of detail on this one, very authentic look to it.

This is part of the ongoing line of Hot Wheels vehicles based on Batman's signature ride from the Adam West TV show. Specially crafted by Mattel's artisans, the original George Barris designs have been reduced to 1:18 scale to create this authentic, die-cast replica that looks just like the real thing. Ages 14 and up.

Yup, they've been sitting our shelves collecting dust. lol One of my buddies from work bought one, though. I like the attention to detail on it.

I bought it, don't regret it, it is nicely detailed, so I would say it is worth it if you like the TV series.

They make an elite super detailed version as well.

I was really tempted to buy one. Can a Joe, or any of Hasbro's figures, fit inside comfortably? The seats looked a little small to me.

I like the 1:18 scale Batmobile. I wish they would do a Batcyle in 1:18 to go with it Of course I would love to see the Batman Forever and Batman and Robin Batmobiles done in 1:18 scale too so I could have a Batmobile from all the movies in the same scale.

The detail and paint quality was very good. I cannot imagine how much more detail the Elite version has to warrant the higher price.
