So for purposes of discussion relevant to this thread, what are we considering "military?" Obviously GI Joe and other conventional troops, but what about:

Historical= Civil War, Napoleonic, Ancient Roman...

Sci Fi= Star Wars Stormtroopers/Clones/Droids, Buck Rogers Draconians...

Fantasy= Knights, Amazons, Elves, Orcs...

Comic Book Alien Races= Marvel Kree, Marvel Skrull...


If it is a troop as opposed to a character, is it acceptable here?

Personally, I think the comic alien races would fit better under the Marvel/DC appreciation threads, the fantasy in the 1/18 fantasy appreciation thread. Sci-fi under any existing appreciation thread ei. Star Wars or at the poster's discretion.

Despite Hasbro's current lack of support for this genre in this scale, there still exists plenty of product.

LordMudd, enjoy seeing the pics of your Marauder WW2 and US Calvary! Especially since I don't have any those figures.

Those are by Lanard, not Mattel.
Mattel's stuff is smaller scaled.
Larnard just recolored some of their CORPS stuff.
