I'm not much into western figures, or even 3.75" to 4" scale figures. But I am into awesome as hell 80's toy homages. And Space Cowboy is one awesome as hell 80's toy/toon homage.

This is a really cool idea, and what I'd like to see is the ability to make a custom that can represent certain cowboy and western archetypes seen in films without being a specific likeness. I'd love to make a Clint Eastwood looking figure, or hell, using that as a basis, a Roland Deschain figure from the Gunslinger by Stephen King. Now THAT would be cool as hell.

This is what I thought. I was just on the kickstarter trying to figure out how to get one and I couldn't find it. I came back here and saw that it is just a mockup. I don't really need to spend the money anyway.

KS campaign is thankfully over. We finished at $165,700 with a total of 565 backers. The Badlands Vigilante was unlocked, as well as the first four stretch goals.

Anyone who has pledged at least $100 in the KS campaign can select the BV figure as an add one. A single copy. The "All-IN!" pledges can automatically add a single copy, and the "Two Step" pledges can add two copies.

More information on things discussed during the last 30 minutes of the KS in the Live! feed will be typed up tomorrow night, and posted in the FB group. Any further information will be posted there, or sent out directly to the KS participants via email.

An update on this since the last post here:

The figures are finished and look wonderful and are very well constructed.

They are here in the states awaiting sorting, counting, boxed up , and shipping to Kickstarter backers. This should be accomplished sometime in the next month.

Very nice Crayfish- they look great. I was super close to jumping in on these guys but that last little price hike they pushed broke the camel's back and i dropped out. Probably for the best since 99% of my 3.75 collection has been boxed away...

I modified a Playmobil Saloon pieces with sculpt to give it some height and depth and created the beer barrel stand to make it level with pouring

We are sitting solidly at 172 of the 500 needed for each figure. Pretty good numbers, but help if you can by sharing this around to anyone and anywhere that you think it might get some traction. We have the remainder of October and November to get to the magic number so the order can be placed, and arrive by the target date in early Summer of 2020.

Like the proverbial bad penny, Chicken Fried Toys is back again, with more spicy authentic Western sauce, as you like it! This time around, they are presenting their first Army-builder centric
lineup: The Cavalry, a new set of 1:18th scale Western action figures, as well as horses, gear, and
even a stagecoach!
The initial funding goal will offer the "First Four" figures in this lineup: Trooper Private, Buffalo
Soldier NCO, Officer JG (Lt.), and Major General.
The Kickstarter Exclusive is a great step for CFT as it is the first named character as well as a direct Eagle Force crossover with Fresh Monkey Fiction, AND the first Native American figure offering.
Figure stretch goals include a Bugler, Buffalo Soldier Trooper, Veteran NCO, Mestre de Camp,
and more.
Additional stretch goals unlock a variety of accessory sets intended to combine with figures in
this campaign and allow more flexibility to backers. These include a set of bladed weapons and
gear, a set of new firearms, optional gear for belts and sashes, optional belts and sashes, and a 10-
pack of hats in colors not offered on the carded figures.
A recurring “Bonus Head Pack In" stretch goal unlocks a second 100% brand new, never before
seen original sculpt portrait to an already unlocked figure. You get 2 for 1 with each tier of this
type that is reached.
Further stretch goals unlock a stable of mustang ponies to get your army to the battle field and
back. Take a ride on Butterscotch the palomino, Blueberry the appaloosa, Chips the paint horse,
and Cinnamon the red roan horse. Each comes with a removable bedroll and saddlebags, as well
as a canteen, lariat, and rifle sheathe.
A new addition to the campaign is the ability to simply add any single unlocked item to your
preexisting pledge level. This feature allows backers to add the KS Exclusive, other premium
items, and many more offerings through a pull down menu to custom tailor their reward without
the need for a Backerkit.
Reward packages include:
"My Personal Trooper" - choice of 1 single unlocked figure
"First Four" - 1 set of each of the first four figures available
"Full Charge!" - a nontraditional all in style package
"I'm the STAR of this SHOW!" - a high tier supporter package that includes a sculpt of YOU
added to a figure in THIS campaign as well as other reward items
"Johnny's Personal Army" - a troop builders dream! Pick 100 basic troopers of your choice
